Planning for the Unexpected

For many American’s 2009 was a year of challenges. We faced job loss, pay cuts, furlough days, home foreclosures and empty promises. Despite the economy’s efforts to bring us down, we have banded together and remained strong. Now as we move deeper into 2010, it is time to rely not on the government but on ourselves as we plan for the future.
We are learning quickly what we really need and what we can live without. Many of us are on tight enough budgets that there is not much room, if any, for saving. As life would have it, those are often the times when the car breaks down, the heater on the house goes out, or a child becomes sick. When it comes to covering those unexpected things, having money in savings is the ideal way to handle the situation. For those who are just fortunate enough to be able to pay their monthly expenses much less think about savings, they are often led to payday loans for those unexpected emergencies. Payday lenders like money mutual montel Williams offer quick and easy payday loans that can get you the cash you need in a hurry. You can also visit moneymutual.com for more information or to apply online.
The level of economic insecurity and uncertainty about the future that this country has faced in the last year is something that most of us have not experienced before. It has forced us to look at ourselves and re-examine our priorities. It has also drawn us closer to our friends and families as look to one another for support. Because we have struggled through this time together and allowed it to draw us together instead of ripping us apart, we will be stronger as individuals, as parents, as loved ones, and as friends.

Considerations for Tribal Tattoos

The most popular of all body art is undoubtedly the unique and captivating tribal tattoos that decorate the arms and legs of a vast majority of tattoo enthusiasts. Most tribal pieces are facsimiles of traditional Maori and Polynesian designs and those who wear them are considered to convey a bold and noble spirit. The designs are popular with males and females as armbands and lower back tattoos; however, many also prefer them because they are commonly inked in black, giving less potential for fading. While there are many designs in circulation created by graphic artists, there are some tattoo artists that specialize in Maori, Borneo or Polynesian designs.

When deciding on a tribal piece, it is often forewarned that getting authentic Maori tattoos is considered a form of identity theft. So sacred is the art of Maori tattooing that the use of original designs by outsiders is considered a great insult. The culture largely uses their tattoos as a way of individual identification as well as denoting family affiliations. Most modern and conventional tribal tattoo artists stick to designs closely reminiscent of traditional designs but without distinct social connotations. It is a great way to get the look a tattoo enthusiast desires while still respecting a deeply noble culture.

The Men Who Sleep With Prostitutes

The conviction of Steve Wright for the murder of five prostitutes in Suffolk has again thrown the light on prostitution. The debate about its legal and social status is as current as ever, but what do the men who visit prostitutes think about what they do?

Patrick, Pete and Mark have some things in common.

They are all successful, professional men, who work long hours and have to travel away from home. But what really unites them is that they all use prostitutes and are utterly unashamed about it.

Patrick, an IT worker in his 50s, dislikes the coverage of the issue. He dislikes the pieces written by feminists like Julie Bindel in the Guardian, who describes prostitution as “abuse”. Patrick also dislikes the tabloids.   Read more
